Ganymede

Ganymede is the largest moon of Jupiter, in fact it is larger then the planet Mercury. It is 5270 Km in diameter making it the largest moon in our solar system. In fact it has over twice the mass as our own moon.

Another interesting fact about Ganymede is that it's believed to have just below its surface an abundant amount of water and ice. This is what astronomers believe causes its groves on its surface.
