Firstscope 80 EQ Refractor

The Firstscope 80 EQ is a good choice for the more serious beginning astronomer. The setting circles and slow motion controls on the R.A. and DEC. axes allow for greater control in both locating and tracking objects, making this equatorial telescope one you can grow with over time as your observing interests expand. The equatorial mount is larger and more rugged than the one supplied with the Firstscope 60's. The tripod is also larger and more rugged than offered on the 60mm sizes or on most competitive 80mm models. The achromatic optics are made to Celestron's exacting specifications and are quite excellent. The standard accessories for this telescope add up to a highly desirable viewing instrument that performs superbly. This telescope works well for both terrestrial and astronomical observing.

Reflector Telescope

This 4.5 reflecting telescope has an equatorial mount, an aluminum tripod and a finder scope which is 5X, 20mm. 1.25 in Kellner eyepieces are 6, 9 and 20mm with magnifications of 150, 100 and 45X. Powers of all eyepieces are doubled when the 2X Barlow Lens is used. This scope will reveal the craters and mountains of the moon (moon filter included), the phases of Venus, the moons and atmospheric bands of Jupiter, and the spectacular rings of Saturn. Combined weight of scope and tripod is 33 lbs.

Dobsonian Telescope

This easy to use reflecting telescope provides the most starlight for them money. It has a finely annealed parabolic primary mirror and an elliptic, flat secondary mirror with a premium holder that allows for easy adjustment in alignment. NexStar 114 GT

The NexStar 114 Newtonian reflector has 265 times the light gathering power of the average human eye, revealing fine detail within galaxies and nebulae. This compact design brings objects into view with a 114mm aperture, 1000mm focal length capable of achieving magnifications of 40x and 100x with the included eyepieces.
