8 Inch STAR HOC Reflector Telescope w/EQ Mount

This 8" f/4 STAR HOC reflector is a rich field telescope designed for Deep Space observation. Begin with the well known Messier objects like M31 (the Andromeda Galaxy) or the Pleiades (M45), and work your way through the other 108 galaxies, nebulas, and star clusters on Charles Messier's famous list. The 2-inch aluminum rack-and-pinion focuser makes it possible to use wide-field 2" as well as standard 1¼" eyepieces. We've included an extra-large 8x50mm finder scope, and added two Astrola® Plössl eyepieces [9mm (89x) and 25mm (32x)]. You'll find the equatorial mount easy to use. The built-in polar alignment scope facilitates accurate tracking of celestial objects. Truly a scope for all seasons. Weighs approximately 45 lbs."
